Terms

Enquiries are made through the website or by telephone. Helen will call you to talk it through and, if the course is right for you, hold your place on the phone.

Payment can be made in full, or with a £50 deposit and the balance one week before the course begins.

Courses run with a minimum of four students. Day workshops and CREATEiviTEA sessions run with a minimum of six.

If a session does not reach its minimum we will let you know at least one week beforehand and refund you in full, including any deposit.

Cancel more than 14 days before the start date and you will receive a full refund. Cancel between 7 and 14 days before and you will receive a 50% refund.

Inside 7 days we are unable to refund, because materials will have been bought and the place held, but you are welcome to pass your place to someone else. Just tell us who is coming.

We are not able to refund or transfer individual missed sessions within a course. Where possible we will help you catch up.

Fused glass work is made at 13cm x 13cm and fired off site by a specialist kiln. Pieces are returned as soon as they are ready, usually within a fortnight.

Glass is fragile and firing is not entirely predictable. We take great care, but very occasionally a piece will not survive the kiln, and where that happens we will remake it with you at no charge.

We love to share what people make. We will only photograph you, your child, or your work if you have given consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing hello@createwithhelen.com.

Helen Pestana holds an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service. A safeguarding policy is available on request.

Students under 16 must be collected by a named adult agreed in advance. Fused glass is taught to adults aged 18 and over only.

Very occasionally a session may need to be moved. If that happens we will offer an alternative date or a pro-rata refund for that session.
